Chloe Potter currently has a rapidly expanding compositional portfolio, having been commissioned to write music for short films, youtube projects, gaming and by individual performance ensembles. Arranging

Chloe has had years of practical experience and training in arranging since entering the music field and has developed a quick and professional skill set. As a young student she arranged pieces so they could be played in a band / orchestral setting, a skill she has employed almost constantly into adulthood. She has arranged and re-scored repertoire for various sized groups, including her own performance ensembles. Please contact for further information.

Composition

Chloe has been composing for her own ensembles and duos for many years, even before her period of study. Since finishing at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama she has been commissioned to write for a variety of different ensembles, from trios to full orchestra and Bigband.

Chloe often uses story lines and visual imagery as a stimulus for her compositional work, and therefore finds her style lends itself to film scoring.

"I have always associated music with a character or visual scene, both as a performer and composer - finding this breathes life into the work, and gives it context within my own mind. This dramatic involvement is my main influence when underscoring film / graphics. I feel that it is important as a composer to realise that the film and the music are not separate entities, rather working organically to influence plot, dramatic form and movie direction."

Chloe is comfortable at working to tight deadlines, and with the commissioner to achieve professional results that compliment the project.
